About Us
18K gold pieces — never plated, never filled.
Solirah was created for those who value higher gold purity, lasting worth and understated luxury.
Lower-karat gold is widely sold as fine jewellery in Australia, sometimes at price points that may surprise customers when compared to gold purity — Solirah provides a more considered alternative.
We work exclusively with 18K gold, chosen for its deeper tone, elevated material value and widely recognised for its prestige in fine jewellery.
Each piece is crafted with a refined, wearable lightness, making fine gold feel effortless for everyday wear.
Our collections are intentionally curated in limited quantities.
Pieces are sourced through trusted sourcing channels within the Gulf region, selected for their finishing, glow and craftsmanship.
Because we curate in small batches, availability naturally varies and certain pieces may not return once sold — preserving the exclusivity of each drop.
Solirah exists for those who prefer jewellery with higher intrinsic gold content, quiet elegance and long-term wearability.
18K gold — never plated, never filled.
Fine jewellery built on integrity and intentional curation.
Solirah: Where purity meets design.
OUR MATERIALS
18K gold — selected and curated for modern luxury.
At Solirah, every piece begins with our commitment to higher gold purity, refined finishing and materials chosen to last.
We work exclusively with 18K gold, the fine-jewellery standard for richness, durability and intrinsic value.
Why 18K Gold
18K gold contains 75% pure gold, giving it:
• the warm, luminous tone associated with fine jewellery
• natural tarnish resistance
• water-friendly durability
• long-term material value
Each piece carries hallmarking consistent with international conventions, including 750.
Some pieces may also feature a maker’s mark or goldsmith’s crest, reflecting their workshop of origin.
How 18K Compares to Other Karats
In Australia, lower-karat gold dominates the market:
| Karat | Purity | Hallmark | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| 9K | 37.5% | 375 | Widely sold in Australia |
| 10K | 41.7% | 417/416 | Durable alloy |
| 14K | 58.5% | 585 | Popular mid-range standard |
| 18K | 75% | 750 | Recognised fine-jewellery standard |
These alloys can be beautiful, but naturally contain less gold value due to higher alloy composition.
Solirah offers an alternative for those who prefer the deeper colour, purity and value of 18K.
Why Not 24K?
24K gold is 99.9% pure, but also naturally soft.
It bends and scratches easily, making it unsuitable for jewellery intended for modern daily wear.
18K gold provides the ideal balance of purity, strength and longevity, which is why it remains the choice of many fine-jewellery houses globally.
Craft & Construction
Our sourcing reflects the long-standing goldsmithing traditions of the Gulf region.
Each piece is:
• selected through trusted sourcing channels
• evaluated for finishing, glow and balance
• curated in limited quantities
• reflective of the natural variation found in small-batch workshop production
Because curation is batch-based, restocks are not guaranteed, preserving the exclusivity of each release.
All Solirah pieces are crafted from 18K gold throughout, with no internal fillers or non-gold support materials. Designs may be created with refined, lightweight 18K construction — a traditional fine-jewellery technique — which maintains purity while allowing for effortless wear.
OUR VALUE PHILOSOPHY
Clarity. Integrity. Considered curation.
At Solirah, our pricing reflects the true nature of the materials we use, the craftsmanship behind each piece, and the intentional way we curate our collections.
We believe luxury should be felt in the quality, purity and integrity of the piece — not only in its price.
What Shapes Our Pricing
1. Gold Purity
We use exclusively 18K gold (75% pure), with a value proportionate to its material worth.
2. Small-Batch Craftsmanship
Our collections are created in limited quantities, rather than large uniform runs.
3. Selection & Curation
Each drop is curated and hand-selected, ensuring the glow, finish and balance meet our standards.
4. Responsible Business Operations
We prioritise artisanship, quality control, packaging and service in every piece.
What We Do Not Do
• We do not use high–low discount cycles or short-term promotional pricing.
• We avoid exaggerated compare-at or strike-through pricing models.
• We set our RRPs consistently and transparently.
• We price our pieces according to their 18K gold purity and craftsmanship.
How We Price
With clarity, consideration and honesty, ensuring each piece reflects:
• its gold content
• its craftsmanship
• its limited nature
• the care involved in curation
Our goal is to make fine 18K gold accessible for customers who value real purity and long-term wearability.
